Summer Horse Restrictions

You and your horse are welcome on most of Pembrokeshire’s beaches, but some have byelaws that restrict horses for certain time periods between 1 June and the end of September. 

Amroth and Wiseman's Bridge beaches have byelaws restricting horses between the hours of 10am (10:00) and 7pm (19:00) daily between 1 June and 30 September. 

The byelaw allows for children's ponies and donkeys to be taken onto the beach during the restricted time period, provided the animal is hand-led by a responsible adult walking alongside at all times. 

Please note that the beaches at Amroth and Wiseman's Bridge will be fully covered at high tides - please check tide tables

We want everyone to enjoy our beaches, which are busiest during the summer period. Please be respectful to others. Thank you for your cooperation with this byelaw.
