You and your dog are welcome on more than 50 of Pembrokeshire’s beaches, but some have dog restricted areas or dog bans between 1 May and the end of September. Please note these restrictions do not apply to guide dogs for visually impaired people.
Amroth Beach and Promenade has a byelaw which involves some restrictions: Dogs are not allowed on the central beach section. On the coast road and promenade dogs must be kept on a short lead at all times.
Dogs are allowed on the east and west sections of the beach. There is a dispensation in place on the east section for those with access issues - rules must strictly be followed in order to remain compliant with the byelaw.
Wiseman's Bridge: Welcomes dogs at all times, but please note restrictions are in place either side at Amroth and Coppet Hall
We want everyone to enjoy our beaches at Amroth and Wiseman's Bridge, which are busiest during the summer period. Please be respectful to others. Thank you for your cooperation with the byelaw.
