Lest We Forget

There are no physical memorials or cenotaphs in the Amroth Community area.

To commemorate those who served and died, each parish has a Roll of Honour.

Historically, the Roll of Honour for Amroth hung in St. Elidyr's Church, Upon the church's closure, the Roll of Honour was restored and transferred to Amroth Parish Hall. At the same time, a full booklet was created providing information on all names shown on the Roll of Honour and also listing some names previosuly omitted. A full list has also been reproduced on this website.

The Crunwere Roll of Honour book was hostorically held in Crunwere Church in Llanteg. Upon closure, the book was transferred and today held in Llanteg Village Hall.  A seperate tapestry has been developed and is displayed in the hall, along with a brass plaque for a previously unknown serviceman.
