ACC will next meet on Thursday 19th November in Amroth Parish Hall. Contact the clerk if you would like at attend either in person or by Zoom.
Amroth Village Hall originally sat on the site. It officially opened on Coronation Day, 1953 and was a hybrid construction. The foundations used stones from the demolished Cliff Cottage which once stood where the public toilets are now located.
In 1994 the hall building eventually lost its battle with the rigours of coastal weather and had to be demolished. A garden enhancement area was created, and the trusteeship of the Amroth Village Hall Charity was transferred to Amroth Community Council.
A complete renovation of the garden took place in 2025 following funding being being received from the UK Government Shared Prosperity Fund and Amroth Community Council.
The renovated garden has been developed as an additional and alternative experience for both residents and visitors to Amroth. Please enjoy the serenity that the garden provides. There are plenty of seats available to simply relax and listen to the sounds of the garden. We have particulary focused on planting that will attract pollinators and provide colour, scent and movement in the garden.
The space at the front of the garden has been designed for events for the community. If you would like to make use of this space, please get in touch with the Clerk to Amroth Community Council.
Dogs are allowed. Please keep on a short lead at all times, and if any fouling occurs, please bag it and take it out of the garden and put it in any general litter bin located in the village.
